Iku-Turso

I wasn't going to enter at first since I thought I hadn't enough time and had no chances, but in the end my love for the game won and I decided to give it a try anyway. 8'D

So. Um. I was unsure if I should draw fan art or something original, and after a brainstorm I ended up with original. I wanted to design my own oni, but the villains in Ôkami are based off Japanese mythology and I didn't think I'd know enough of it, so instead I based him off in Finnish mythology. Let me introduce you: Iku-Turso, the king of the sea from Kalevala... well, at least the way I see him myself, since I couldn't find any description of his looks. But that's okay, the design was supposed to be original, right?

I used watercolor, ink and a white gel pen. Those scales nearly killed my hand, it took me well over an hour to draw them all. X'D

I might paint a fan art entry too, if I have enough time. Dunno yet.
