....why must choosing the category be so darn hard? DX The character plays a big part in this picture, but I actually concentrated more on the scenery (and the colors)... Gah, whatever.

Anyway. As I've mentioned one hundred times already, I've been very stressed lately. Few days ago I realized that it's been quite a long time since I've drawn anything for myself, just for my own and nobody else's sake. And then the inspiration hit me.
I used to love painting sunsets, and I actually painted them everywhere I could. But I hadn't been doing that, either, for the longest time before this picture. So I thought I'd give it a try, and oh how fun it was! I remembered again the reason watercolors are my favorite tools to work with.
The woman in the picture is Jagaimo. She's originally a dog, but I wanted to draw her as human. I don't quite know why, really. Maybe I just thought I'd get the feeling better to display. And lately I've been designing my other canine characters in human form too.
Anyway! Jagaimo is one of my oldest RP-characters, and if I have to name one of my own character who has gone through the most evolving, it would be her. I created her in August 2004 and she finally left the RP-scene in July 2007. But even though I stopped RP'ing her, her story didn't end there - in her last game she boarded a ship and sailed away to far-away lands and went on in my head.
I wanted to paint her, somewhere in the new lands she's living in and looking back to her life old. Thinking how time heals the wounds.

...sorry for all the rambling, but I just wanted to get it all out since, omg, for once I have a MEANING for a picture. 'D

I used watercolors, Derwent watercolor pencils and a white gel pen. And what is this - for once the scanner didn’t eat all the colors!
